This classic is about an elderly Devil named Screwtape and his series of letters of advice to his young nephew, Wormwood. Screwtape writes to Wormwood about corrupting his earthly "patient".
The Screwtape Letters was considered a catholic classic, although Lewis was not catholic. He captured the devil's tactics of corrupting the world. Just like Dante's "Inferno" , the church did not consider it as an awful publication but as a lesson to every catholic.
I first got my copy from my grandmother who was it's recipient from my aunt. Since then, I was hooked. You can finish this book by one sitting only.
I encourage every catholic to read this book.
